TANGERINE
Description
Tangerine essential oil, derived from the peel of Citrus reticulata, originates from Southeast Asia. This evergreen tree, known for its sweet fruit, has been cultivated since 2,000 B.C. The oil is obtained through cold pressing the fruit’s rind, preserving its rich antioxidant content, particularly limonene. This compound helps protect the skin from environmental stressors and supports overall skin health. The bright, citrusy aroma makes it a popular choice in aromatherapy for reducing stress, enhancing mood, and promoting relaxation. Additionally, Tangerine essential oil offers digestive benefits, eases bloating, and supports a healthy digestive system. It is also valued in natural cleaning products for its antimicrobial properties, which purify surfaces while leaving a pleasant scent. Its versatility extends to skincare, personal care, and perfumery, where it enhances the ambiance of any space.
