ROSEMARY

Description

Rosemary essential oil is derived from the Rosemary herb (Rosemarinus officinalis), a shrub native to the rocky coastal regions of the Mediterranean. Known for its needle-like evergreen leaves, this herb is easily identifiable and has a rich history of culinary use. Rosemary plants can grow up to 4 feet [1.2 m] in height and live for up to 20 years. The oil is extracted through steam distillation of the herb’s flowers and leaves. Celebrated for its invigorating and herbaceous aroma, it is often used to enhance mental clarity and alleviate fatigue. Additionally, this essential oil is valued in hair care for its potential to promote healthy hair growth and improve scalp condition. Its versatility extends to skincare, where it is believed to help with oily skin and acne. The multifaceted applications make it a popular choice in both therapeutic and personal care routines.
