MANDARIN

Description

Mandarin essential oil, also known as Clementine essential oil or by its botanical names Citrus nobilis and Citrus reticulata, is derived from the evergreen mandarin tree native to southeast Asia. This tree features broad, vibrant green leaves and produces medium-sized, round fruit. Mandarin essential oil can be extracted at different stages of fruit ripeness, resulting in three distinct variations: Green Mandarin essential oil, obtained from the unripened peel; Yellow Mandarin essential oil, extracted from partially ripened fruit; and Red Mandarin essential oil, cold-pressed from fully ripened fruit. Each variation offers a unique aroma profile, with Green Mandarin presenting a zesty and tart citrus scent, while Red Mandarin delivers a sweeter, more citrusy fragrance. These essential oils are valued for their uplifting and refreshing qualities, making them popular in aromatherapy and personal care products.
