About the Instructor
Thich Nhat Hanh (October 11, 1926 – January 22, 2022) was a distinguished Vietnamese Buddhist monk, Zen master, and peace activist. Founder of Van Hanh Buddhist University, he taught at Columbia University and the Sorbonne. He authored over 60 books, including the bestselling "Living Buddha, Living Christ," which continues to inspire millions. In 1967, Martin Luther King, Jr. nominated him for the Nobel Peace Prize for his impactful work in promoting peace.
