About the Instructor
Thich Nhat Hanh (October 11, 1926 – January 22, 2022) was a distinguished Zen master and peace activist from Vietnam. He established the Van Hanh Buddhist University and served as a professor at both Columbia University and the Sorbonne. Author of over 60 books, including the bestseller Living Buddha, Living Christ, Thich Nhat Hanh was recognized for his significant contributions to peace and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1967 by Martin Luther King, Jr.
